Community engagement is one of the key to a successful implementation of health programs. Without the cooperation of people, programs are doomed to fail. As part of this important strategy, we always see to it that we join in every activities and meetings of the people in barangay Bag-ong Dalaguete.
One of the major activity in the barangay is the gathering of members of WEMRIC, which is an organization of women in the barangay. We had the opportunity in joining this event and relayed to its members the objectives and health programs based on the identified health problems in their barangay. This would be a crucial step towards achieving success of the health programs, since majority of the women and mother belonged to this organization.
